Candace Nicole Parker (born April 19, 1986) is an American sports analyst and former professional basketball player. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest WNBA players of all time. A power forward out of the University of Tennessee, she was selected as the first overall pick in the 2008 WNBA draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. She spent 13 seasons on the Sparks, two seasons with the Chicago Sky, and one season with the Las Vegas Aces, winning a championship with each team. Other accolades include two Olympic gold medals, two WNBA MVP awards, a EuroLeague championship, seven WNBA All-Star selections, and ten All-WNBA selections. She has been married to former basketball player Anna Petrakova since 2019; they have two children.
