The clumsy knight Don Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho Panza encounter among others a desperate pair of lovers, Kitri and her sweetheart Basilio, who are unable to marry because Kitri's father wants her to be united in marriage with the wealthy Gamache. Don Quixote, in his heroic manner, intervenes and convinces Gamache to give his consent for Kitri and Basilio's marriage.
