In 1993, Senior Inspector Yeung Kwong Yiu investigated a series of gruesome murders. During a pursuit, he mysteriously traveled to 2018, where he found that his wife and daughter were missing, and the past cases remained unsolved. Reinstated with the help of former leader Sir Yip, he teamed up with Chan Hoi Ching, who had a unique approach to investigations, and the stoic Cheung Tin Ming. When a new murder case emerged, Kwong Yiu noticed unsettling similarities to the murders he had previously investigated. As he began unraveling the mystery, he sensed a larger conspiracy. Determined to find the truth and confront the past, Kwong Yiu vowed to uncover what happened and seek justice.
